We do not accept payment for rankings. Catalogue information is researched from attributable public sources and published only when automated evidence checks pass.
NDIS-Focused
We organise software around NDIS workflows and clearly separate vendor claims, sourced facts, and information that still needs confirmation.
Private Software Matching
Our public-beta guide uses two fixed selections to surface relevant tools without creating a profile or saving participant information.
Community-Driven
We are building a careful feedback process for providers, participants, vendors, and industry specialists without presenting unverified submissions as fact.
Our Story
Mitrata was born from a simple observation: NDIS providers were spending countless hours researching software, comparing features, and trying to understand which tools would actually work for their specific needs.
We saw providers struggling with scattered information, biased vendor claims, and a lack of NDIS-specific guidance. Many chose the wrong tools, wasted budgets, and ended up more frustrated than before.
So we built Mitrata as an independent place where providers and participants can discover and compare software without sales pressure. The directory is in public beta, and its research and verification process will continue to mature.
We are starting with a focused public beta so the catalogue, evidence and comparison experience can improve responsibly before broader expansion.
Our Values
Transparency First
We clearly disclose how we make money (affiliate commissions) and ensure it never influences our rankings or recommendations.
Quality Over Quantity
We favour a smaller, well-sourced catalogue over a large collection of unsupported claims. Verification status and source dates are shown wherever evidence exists.
Community First
We exist to serve the NDIS community. If a feature or policy doesn't benefit providers or participants, we don't do it.
